Thinking of Visiting?

What to Expect

While worshipping in the Anglican tradition is beautiful, it can be overwhelming for those who are unfamiliar. Christ Church, Walton is a welcoming church, whether you’re familiar with the Anglican traditions or not, we invite you to join us.

We are a small congregation that is always looking to grow in faith, and we consider ourselves blessed to continue the work began in 1831 by our founders. We are sharing the Gospel message of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and our only hope of salvation through Him.

Our services follow the modern liturgy found in The Book of Common Prayer, with hymns from the Celebration Hymnal accompanied on the organ or piano.

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion during Eucharist, everyone is invited to the altar to receive a blessing.

Children are ALWAYS welcome at Christ Church! Never fear that their presence is an interruption to the service. As Father Donaghue said, “Every church is only one generation away from extinction.”

Whether you’re just visiting or looking for a new church home Christ Church is looking forward to welcoming you!
